Lync 2013 Status

I'm able to get MM to start Lync when it starts and stop Lync when MM is paused. I'd like the 3rd script (run at intervals) to be able to change the status of Lync 2013.

From what I gather, it's not that easy and you need the Lync SDK? Has anybody been successful in randomly changing the status using a Mouse Move script action?

Here is a good blog that should help you out:

I just tested this function with my Lync setup at work, and it worked perfectly.

It's working nicely now and I've got it set to randomly pick a status.
What was tripping me up was the version of Powershell installed was v1 when the scripted wanted v2 at a minimum.
Once I upgraded to .NET 4.5 and PowerShell 4, it started working. Added in some code at the end to random select an availability status and away we go.
Now how can I have spintax added to respond to chats?

Glad to hear this worked for you.

Not too sure about the auto-responding to chats piece. Presumably you have some of the code required already, now you just need to detect new chat windows and go from there. Google will have to be your friend here.

I have to ask - what are you attempting to do?
