Don't move cursor if the cursor has already moved during the count down period

Jan 28, 2016 at 5:27 AM
Move Mouse has helped me a lot, but it is very annoying when I am using the mouse and it moves my cursor somewhere else and I click on the wrong spots.

Can you please not move the mouse if the mouse has already moved during the countdown period, please?

Suggestions:

1.
Call GetCursorPos() before the first countdown starts but after the Start button was pressed.

2.
Call GetCursorPos() at the end of the countdown and just before moving the mouse.
If the mouse has moved, don't move the mouse.
  1. Start the Countdown again.
  2. Goto 2.
Thanks for your consideration. This would be a very helpful feature.

Hi Joe,

The one thing I like more than feedback and suggestions, is feedback and suggestions with the actual code :o)

You're right - that is annoying, and it used to annoy me. That is why I introduced the pause and auto resume features.

In the Behaviour tab, enable the "Pause when mouse pointer moved" option, and then enable the "Automatically resume after XX seconds of inactivity" option. This will ensure Move Mouse is inactive if you're moving the mouse or typing, but will automatically resume if you leave your machine idle.

Hope this helps.
